The season is so refreshing that scientists believe that just its smell causes people to become more relaxed and to even feel joy. Who wouldn’t like Spring? The Vernal Equinox. The entrée to Summer. What better way to celebrate but to stroll through a market full of uniquely created and curated fresh flowers, plants, art and designs. Curated by The Hipsturbia Collective, you will find a perfume bar, tarot reader, vintage pieces and jewelry, artisan cookies, Italian delicacies and so much more. Complimentary iced coffee and springtime infused mocktail flights will be served throughout the Market courtesy of The Compound Coffee. Admission is free.


 



Learn to Make Boozy Desserts at The Kitchen Table Saturday April 26, 7:00pm - 9:30pm

Discover the secret to adding an elevated twist to your favorite desserts using a luscious blend of liquors and sweets. Located inside the culinary studio and hip dining room of the Kitchen Table in Maplewood, spend the evening learning, sipping and tasting. The evening will begin with a glass of prosecco and lite bites. You then will unlock the art of baking with alcohol as Chef Melissa guides you in the making of Bananas Foster a La Mode (rum), Crepes Suzette (Grand Marnier), Sabayon w/ Berries (St. Germaine) and Limoncello Tiramisu (Limoncello). At the end of the evening, sit back in the intimate Dining Room and enjoy what you made while sipping more. Tickets are $85 and are limited.

Brunch Meets Beer at this springtime 4-course culinary experience with Autodidact Beer and Three Daughters Baking. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking to explore new flavor combinations, this 4 course brunch and beer paired menu, featuring springtime highlights, is designed to delight your taste buds. Do Brunch in the Beerbouse where the brewmasters brew the beer.

Strawberry Yogurt Parfait, Floral Shortbread Cookies ( Late Bloomers - a mixed fermented saison)

Spring Pea and Goat’s Cheese Danish (Daylily -  a hoppy pale ale)

Lobster Croissant (Pathfinder - a spring double IPA)

Chocolate Thing filled with salted caramel cream and topped with toasted meringue  (Alaska - a czech dark lager)

The Beer Run & Craft Brew Festival at Allaire State Park, April 20 12:00pm - 4:00pm

Spring has sprung and it is time to get fit. There's no better way to get in shape than a nice long run or walk. Ergo, The Beer Run. Where your running buddies are your drinking buddies. Run (or walk) a 5K through a historic 1800's village and natural trails to cross the finish line into a craft beer festival featuring some of the best beer and eats NJ has to offer. Your ticket includes race registration, 12 5 oz. pours from NJ’s best breweries, a tasting glass, and festival access with live music, lawn games, food trucks, and more. Don’t feel like running? Grab a Beer Fest Only ticket and cheer on your crew at the finish line instead. Designated Driver tickets are also available for those who don’t wish to indulge and get their friends home safe. Participating breweries this year are Carton, Icarus, Source, Alternate Ending, Birdsmouth, Last Wave, Asbury Park, Bradley Brew Project, Screamin' Hill, Twin Lights, Wild Air, Tall Oaks, Heavy Reel, and more TBA soon!
